Engagement Fun!

Last day of classes for me!

Then the dreaded finals.

But all that means is one step closer to being done with my first semester here at Liberty!

Praise the Lord!

Don't get me wrong, I really love this school.

And I am so grateful for how well this first semester went.

But I am even more grateful that it's almost done and that I am one step closer to OT school.

{I really really can't wait to be an Occupational Therapist!}

In celebration of last day of classes... I'm going to privilege you with more engagement pictures!

{That was a joke..}

 {I don't actually think you seeing my and Matt's face is a privilege. I also don't think that has anything to do with end of classes. Hence the joke.}

 {This might be my absolute favorite out of all of them. It was candid. And we didn't even know Wendy was taking pictures. When we first saw it we didn't think anything about it. But when Matt edited it I fell in love.}

 {This seems to be the favorite of most people. I like it, but it makes me laugh. I feel like the Ross logo should be on it somewhere because we look like we are hard-core modeling.}

 {We call this one "the pose." Wendy said "Do the pose." And we both some how knew this was what she meant.}

 {This is another one of my favorites. It really bothered me that my hair was in my face at first... but the more I look at it the more I love it.}

{This one is on Pinterest. That's right, we're basically famous.}

 {The whole time we were taking the pictures of Matt holding me.. Matt was saying "Look really serious. And look off into the distance." Why? I really don't know. So I was cracking up about this one.}

 {Big fan of this one. We illegally went on the sand dunes when there was a sign that said we couldn't. Can you say rebels?}

Alright. Now that is almost all of the engagement pictures we took in Virginia Beach. One more post and you will have seen all of them. ( well the good ones. )

I love Wedding Updates.

Busy, busy week.

What did we get done for the wedding?

One:

I finally tried on wedding dresses! I found a few I really liked, but not enough to buy. I am excited though that I get to go home and try on with my momma and my girls! I would tell you what I liked, but "you know who" will read this! If you're curious ask me!

Two: 

We took engagement pictures with Wendy! 

We went down(up?) to Virginia Beach for a few days and took them while we were there! They turned out so good! I was so surprised and impressed with Wendy's photography skills and with Matt's editing skills! This is just a sneak peak of what you're missing... I'll be sure to get all of them up once Matt lets me.

Three:

Matt and I designed our very own Save-the-Dates!

Okay, I am going to share this with you in case anyone is looking for cheap invites or Save-the-Dates... We made ours on Staples.com in the photo center... We got 500 for a whopping $19.99!! Gotta love a good deal (especially as a college kid!) I can't wait to send them out! They look so good! 

I absolutely cannot wait to go home in three weeks and start planning with my ladies waiting back home!

Wanna Wedding Update?

No wedding update last weekend...

This week there isn't much of an update either.

It's hard to plan well away from home!

But we've got our ideas.

And I definitely want something as awesome as this in our wedding...

During Christmas break we will hopefully get a whole bunch done!

I can't wait to get home and plan with my family and my wedding party!

Wedding Update!

It's been a crazy busy, miserable week.

We haven't had a lot of time to think about weddings.

But there are always things that we find that we love. 

Some of our loves from the week?

{I'd love to find something like this to wear for a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower or engagement pictures! So romantic and vintage}

{I absolutely adore this idea for engagement pictures!}

{Instead of throw rice at the end, release balloons! I don't know if it is legal... but if it were, that would be awesome!}

{I want this picture.}

{I love this idea as a guest gift! But what would happen if it wasn't sunny..? This is a very serious "what if" in Washington!}

{I found this on Pinterest... How awesome is it? I could see Matt and his guys playing a game of Basketball or something in their suits!}

{I love the idea of getting a single shot of everyone to show their personalities!}

Pretty, Pretty Nails.

So I'm not sure if I have mentioned, but I am engaged! 

{That was a joke. I know I have mentioned that about 6 million and 2 times}

One of the best parts of being engaged is wearing my amazing ring!

It makes me want to always have pretty nails though!

Some of my favorite nail ideas right now:

Love the french tip. And I love the glitter! I need to try this!

I don't know where this new chevron pattern craze came from, but I must admit I am liking it on these nails!

This is a little dark for me, but I think with white lace, this would be GORGEOUS. 

I think this is my favorite one! Maybe use this for our engagement pictures?

As you can see, I am loving the glitter nails. Now all I need is clear nail polish and pretty glitter!

Wedding Day Update.

Wendy comes in to Lynchburg in less than a month now!

When she comes in, we are doing two very important things.

Trying on wedding dresses.

And taking engagement photos!

In preparation for her coming, I am watching what I eat and exercising so I look how I want in a wedding dress... No armpit fat! (you all know what I'm talking about.) 

Also, we are gathering pictures of ideas we want for engagement pictures and dreaming about new outfits!

I can't show you the exact dress I want (or the one I think I want) because Matt reads every blog post... And we just can't let him see it! But I'll put in some styles I like.

Wedding Dress Ideas?

{I adore this one, I would like it a little more fitted I think though.}

{This doesn't look like it has the bottom I like, but I love the top!}

{This one is really pretty, I just don't know if it would match our wedding very well}

{I can't quite get the idea of what the top actually looks like, but from what I get, I love it.}

{Basically, and form of mermaid silhouette with a sweetheart neckline, I am in love.}

Like I said I can't show the exact dress I want, but I'd love to hear your opinions on the ones I posted to see the favorite. And If you want to know the real one, let me know. As long as you can keep a secret I will show you! 

Engagement Pictures?

{I really like the funky wall behind them, maybe we can find something like this?}

{Romantic and so adorable. We need to find a swing.}

Wedding Cakes?

{Love the thought of writing a sweet poem, or song lyrics, or better yet, a bible verse on the cake!}

{We are set on using this kind of idea of a cake on top and pretty cupcakes under, just maybe not this exact look--though I love the top.}

{Love, love, love the lace look on the wedding}

{I also really love this texture on the cake. I love different funky textures!}

{This one is cook because of the rotating textures, I just don't know if it would work for one tier?}
